Elon Musk and His Crazy Learning Capacity

I came across this Reddit post from Elon Musk about learning.

Elon ensures he understands the fundamental principles of a field before learning the details. The metaphor he uses is a tree, learn the trunk first, then the big branches. Only after can you focus on the leaves.

More importantly however, is to have the confidence to learn at that capacity. Don’t sell yourself short. Your approach to learning doesn’t matter unless you possess a growth mindset.
