Patience

The best coffee I make has the longest brew time. The best meats I’ve tasted took hours—or even days—to cook. The flavours of food are more intense the longer a marinade sits.

A lot of students I know want to get successful as fast as possible. Social media glorifies the 21 year old CEO, the 13 year old humanitarian; the existence of these individuals pressures people to rush. I myself tried to rush. But, what is the rush?

Be patient. Stop trying to be the youngest and start trying to be the best.
