Productivity

For the longest time, I thought productivity meant finishing large amounts of work effectively and efficiently.

Then I read this tweet.

We waste years because we cannot waste hours.

As a former productivity porn junkie, I would actively consume tips and tricks to optimize my workflow. However, being productive is irrelevant if a task is not important.

A better definition for productivity would be this:

Productivity is consistently completing tasks that are important.
